The Bible teaches that worship ought to have four main elements:preaching, sacraments, prayer, and the demonstration of mercy. In Acts 2:42 we read that the believers “… devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” This set the pattern that we seek to follow to this day.
If you were to attend a service at Jubilee Church, you would find that the service centers around the explanation of a passage of the Bible. The congregation sings songs of praise to God and enters into a time of prayer. The sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s supper are administered within the worship service. Two collections are taken: one in which the members of the church have an opportunity to give their financial offerings for the ministries of the church, and another to support those who have special financial needs.
We meet for worship twice every Sunday, at 9:00am and 2:30pm. We are a very welcoming congregation. Join us for worship.
